An exciting opportunity exists for the permanent position of Vehicle Progressor based at our York dealership, on a full time contract. Basic hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Corporate Office Manager, the main purpose of the role is to provide efficient and professional service for and behalf of our Corporate division.
As a Vehicle Progressor you will be highly organised, accurate and able to manage the demands of multiple duties.
The role involves ensuring that all customer and Company vehicles are presented in immaculate condition and that any faults whatsoever are identified and actioned prior to the vehicle being handed over to the customer. To valet all vehicles that have passed through the Corporate department to the agreed standard.
To collect and deliver vehicles as per the job sheet and ensuring that customer requirements are fully understood. Maintaining customer car parks and side compound areas to the required standard, ensuring incoming vehicles are processed as required to meet Company standard, maintaining knowledge of the whereabouts of vehicles, ensuring the security of all Company vehicles on site utilising the security keyboards.
Maintaining a presentable appearance and hygiene, ensuring that work wear is regularly cleaned. Ensure all vehicles are presented in pristine condition, any faults / damage (minor or major) are reported to the appropriate Manager, prior to the vehicle being handed over to the customer.
This role is required to drive customers' vehicles in a safe and considerate manner at all times, ensuring that no damage or loss occurs. Be articulate and an eye for detail. Maintain high standards at all times.
It is essential to the role to represent D. M. Keith in a professional manner at all times.
The successful candidate should be a good communicator (verbal and written) and be able to work effectively as a team member in a fast paced environment. Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous but full training will be given.
