D. M. Keith LEADING the way at the Nigel Moore Memorial Road Race

We had the pleasure of supporting the Nigel Moore Memorial Race at the weekend (25th June) and what a great event it was (even if the weather didn't agree....).

Cyclists from across the UK took to their two wheels to compete in the annual event which is held in memory of the VC Bradford Member Nigel Moore, who sadly passed away in 2013.

The 68 kilometre race was supported by our D. M. Keith Bradford team; Craig PattersonDealer Principal and Elliott Hackney Service Advisor.  Craig & Elliott were designated drivers of the Race Lead Car and also the support vehicle at the rear of the pack.

Our Škoda Superb Sportline looked the part leading the way for the 54 cyclists taking part, swiftly followed by the new addition to the Škoda family the multi award winning Kodiaq.

The annual event which is organised by VC Bradford / Pennine Cycles was a huge success and a great day even if the Yorkshire weather was somewhat desirable.

Mr Moore’s family donated a trophy to be given to the first VC Bradford member to finish, which this year was Andrew Head.

The overall winner was Billy Harding, of PH-MAS / Paul Milnes /Oldfield of Otley.

The event which is open to any rider who is looking to move into competitive cycling and gives them a taste for this style of racing.

#TeamTartan had a great day working with the Pennine Cycles team and as you can see from the event pictures the two support vehicles looked great.

Sandra Corcoran, Director at Pennine Cycles said "VC Bradford Pennine Cycles really appreciate the support given at the Nige Moore Memorial Road Race by D. M. Keith Bradford.  The SKODA cars were admired by many at the race and particularly at this time of year cycling fans relate SKODA to Le Tour de France!"

We are looking forward to next year already....
