D. M. Keith receives special award from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Regional ŠKODA Retailer, DM Keith, has received a special award from the Yorkshire AirAmbulance to recognize the company’s outstanding support.
DM Keith, the largest ŠKODA Retailer Group in the UK, has supplied two vehicles for the rapid response emergency charity over the last ten years
They currently provide Kerry Garner, West and South Yorkshire Fundraising Manager, with a Fabia Monte Carlo Estate and an award winning ŠKODA Octavia Hatchback for Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s Director of Fundraising Garry Wilkinson.
Both Garryand Kerry travels thousands of miles a year around the Yorkshire region workingto raise the £12,000 a day the needed by the rapid response emergency charity to keep its two helicopters flying.
DM Keith also hold fundraising across their branches in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, York and Hull.
The company received the Outstanding Partnership Award at Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s 11th annual Recognition Awards which were held at the Principal Hotel, York.
Kerry Garner said: “This award recognises truly exceptional support for the charity over a sustained period of time and we cannot thank D.M. Keith enough for all that they have, and continue to do, for us.
“Their generosity is a real and much valued help in enabling us to meet our income targets so the charity can continue saving lives across Yorkshire.
“The company not only provide us with fantastic vehicles but regularly fundraise for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance themselves and truly deserve to be recognized with this special award.”
Individual volunteers,organisations and corporate supporters from across the region were recognised during the special awards evening hosted by YAA patron and ITV weatherman Jon Mitchell – who himself received the Chairman’s Award for his longstanding support for the charity.
