ŠKODA Making E-Mobility Simply Clever….

ŠKODA Making E-Mobility Simply Clever….Driving for tomorrow.

Quick charging, long ranges and affordable prices are just a key highlights which will mark the start of a new era for ŠKODA….the start of the electrification of the range.

Its looking like the future is bright and very successful for ŠKODA with the introduction of the first electrified production models at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Next year we will start mass-producing our first big electric car in Mladá Boleslav, the home of ŠKODA” announced board chairman Bernhard Maier when discussing the ŠKODA Vision iV – the future vision of the electrified range earlier today.

The brand plan to introduce 30 new models between 2019 and 2022 – with 10 being either fully or partially electrified.

Easy-to-use wall boxes are currently in development for home charging and customers will be offered advice when comes to choosing the device and assistance installing them and maintaining them at home.  Enhanced technology will be available to all iV drivers, via the ŠKODA Connect Ap which will locate the nearest available charging point, whereby you will be able to use the ŠKODA eCharge card – all part of the future ecosystem of the electrified range.

There will be a customised offer for every customer and ŠKODA will contribute to a cleaner environment aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2025, with a future plan to introduce reusable or recyclable parts of vehicles for future use.

Reliable, practical and affordable mobility – has been the motto of the brand since 1895, and this ethos still continues when discussing the future for the brand encompassing three main principals:

Innovative green solutions

Intelligent ways of driving

Inspirational design and engineering

And what better way to mark the 85th anniversary of the Superb than with the launch of the Superb iv (hybrid) which is the first model from the iV sub-brand to be launched….promptly followed by the fully electric Citigo iV.

We are sure you will agree the future looks very bright and very exciting and we cannot wait to be a part of the electric era.
