New SEAT LEON – Watch the unveiling live here!

The new SEAT LEON will be officially unveiled later today and you can watch it live on our website – click the video link at the bottom of this page.

A number of teaser shots have been released ahead of the new LEON’s live launch this evening, detailing the angular front grille design which mirrors that of the award winning SEAT TARRACO design language and the full length horizontal rear light bar across the tailgate echoing the design of the eagerly awaited SEAT El Born EV.

The development of the new LEON is a significant step forward from previous models with impressive improvements to the cabin technology and the introduction of variants offering electrified powertrains.  The new designed cabin boasts an advanced infotainment system, which will update maps and apps over the air – a design which the SEAT CEO, Luca de Meo hopes to the be the best infotainment system on the market.

Coinciding with the improved cabin technology the new LEON will be the first SEAT to boast the plug-in hybrid powertrain which will offer improved fuel economy as well as limited zero-emissions.  This exciting launch will be the first model to kick off the starts of the electrification of the range ahead of the El Born launching in late 2020.
