The Mii Electric fuses dynamism, urban design, an advanced powertrain, and new levels of connectivity with affordability and low cost of ownership, to offer a vehicle that is ready to meet the challenges of the city and the needs of a new generation of customers.

Prices will be announced later this year and production will begin at the end of the year, with a market launch in early 2020.  However, customers will be able to order the new Mii Electric from Autumn of this year at both D. M. Keith SEAT Grimsby and D. M. Keith SEAT & CUPRA York.  SEAT has promised that the Mii Electric will be one of the most affordable EVs on sale.

The all-electric Mii has a range of around 160 miles, 0-62mph time of 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 81mph.

Charge times – 80% charge from flat within an hour when plugged into a CCS 40kw fast-charger.  When plugged into a conventional 7.2kw household socket, the battery should be replenished in around four hours.

The SEAT Mii Electric will boast a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels, a new dashboard, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and new ambient lighting.  Standard equipment includes cruise control, LED daytime running lights, parking sensors, sports seats and a suite of new safety kit, including lane assist and traffic sign recognition.

It will also be the first SEAT model offered with SEAT CONNECT, allowing owners to view their cars driving data, charge status and location.  As well as control the car’s lights, door locks and air-conditioning from a smartphone application.

SEAT will be starting its electric offensive with the launch of the Mii Electric and will be launching a fleet of additional electrified models including a production version of the El-born concept, a plug in hybrid version of the next-generation Leon and high performed PHEV* variants of the CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon.
