The Driver Power 2017 results are in and once again it’s a very strong performance for both of our D. M. Keith brands; ŠKODA & Seat.
This year’s survey was even bigger than previous years with additional & more detailed questions to highlight the ownership experience in a more comprehensive way.
The survey highlighted the top 75 best new cars to own, from the large MPV / SUV’s to the smaller city cars and everything in between. The poll covered owners with vehicles less than 12 months old to rate their cars across 31 different areas.
Three of our models were in the top 10 with a fantastic result for ŠKODA which placed the ŠKODA Superb and ŠKODA Yeti in position 1 and 2 respectively. Which is a great result for the brand. SEAT Leon positioned at number 7 with the ŠKODA Fabia narrowly missing out on a top 10 placement coming in at number 11 and ŠKODA Octavia coming in at number 19.

The fantastic family car took home the number one spot with a fantastic 94.32% of the votes. Receiving fantastic scores across the board:
Here is what Auto Express – Driver Power had to say:
Skoda’s spacious family hatch and estate has convinced a delighted band of owners that they’ve bought the best car around. The Superb sits neck-and-neck at the finish line with the company’s Yeti, which has proven nearly as satisfactory. So how do you push the reputation of a brand such as Lexus into third place in the ownership stakes?
In the big Skoda’s case, it’s by doing everything very well. The Superb clinched the top spot once the scores were totted up, even though the runner-up Yeti is still among the strongest performers across the board.
