The Plug-in Hybrid Shark

The BYD Shark is the brand's debut plug-in hybrid pickup truck. It combines a 1.5L petrol engine with dual electric motors for 430+ horsepower. The 5.5-metre double cab features a ~56-mile pure EV range, a 790kg payload, and a 2,500kg towing capacity.

Performance

Dual-motor, all-wheel drive delivers 0-62 mph acceleration in 5.7 seconds.

Range

Up to 419 miles (combined) on a full tank and charge. The battery can be fast-charged at up to 55kW.

Interior & Tech

Features a class-leading 15.6-inch rotatable central touchscreen, head-up display, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) sockets to power external devices.
