D. M. Keith Motor Group officially open a new, state-of-the-art BYD showroom in York!

D. M. Keith Motor Group has announced the recent opening of a new BYD showroom in York, which officially opened its doors to the public on 15th August. This marks D. M. Keith's third BYD location in the North of England, with two other sites already operating in Leeds and a Test Drive Centre in Grimsby.

The Chinese carmaker BYD continues to grow in popularity around the world and within the UK market. As the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD has been an industry leader for some time. Established in 1995, the company has since become a key player in electric vehicles, energy storage, and renewable energy solutions. With operations in over 50 countries globally, its collaboration with D. M. Keith signifies a significant expansion of BYD’s presence in the United Kingdom.

The new state-of-the-art BYD showroom is located on Wigginton Road, to the north of York’s city centre. In addition to showcasing the award-winning range already available to UK customers, the highly anticipated luxury Off Roader, the YANGWANG U8, and the blisteringly fast hypercar, the U9, were featured at the York site at the official launch event, allowing visitors to explore these hi-tech and high-quality “superstars.”

To celebrate the grand opening of the new showroom, D. M. Keith hosted an exciting event at the site on Thursday, 15th August. The 2-hour event gave attendees the chance to explore the cars across the BYD range, enjoy live music, win a weekend trip away, and more. Guests also received BYD goodie bags filled with official merchandise.
