Big news for drivers across Sheffield and South Yorkshire: D. M. Keith will soon begin selling new Mitsubishi vehicles from our Europa Sheffield dealership.

The first arrivals will include two of the most recognisable names in Mitsubishi’s history. The all-new Mitsubishi L200 Series 7 brings a much-loved pickup back to UK roads, while the all-new Outlander PHEV introduces a new generation of Mitsubishi’s pioneering plug-in hybrid SUV.

An exact launch date will be confirmed soon. In the meantime, customers can register their interest with our Sheffield team and be among the first to hear about vehicle availability, test drives and launch activity.

Mitsubishi has returned to the UK new-car market following an absence of around five years, bringing with it a reputation built on robust Japanese engineering, innovative four-wheel-drive systems and vehicles designed for real-world use.

That return has already attracted plenty of attention. Names including the Shogun, Lancer Evolution, L200 and Outlander have built a loyal following among British drivers, while Mitsubishi’s experience in rallying and off-road competition has influenced generations of its road vehicles.

The all-new Mitsubishi L200 Series 7

The L200 first arrived in Britain during the mid-1980s and has since become one of the UK’s best-known pickups. More than 180,000 L200s have been sold in the UK across its previous generations.

Many of those vehicles have led busy working lives. Current DVLA-based estimates suggest that more than 76,000 L200s remain licensed for use on UK roads, while mileage analysis shows that some model years have covered considerably more miles than would typically be expected for their age.

That tells you plenty about the place the L200 holds in British motoring. It has served on construction sites, farms and rural estates, hauled trailers and equipment, supported fleets and become a trusted everyday vehicle for thousands of owners.

The new Series 7 has been developed to continue that story. Its reengineered 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine produces 470Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox. Every model can tow up to 3.5 tonnes and carry a payload of more than 1,000kg, giving the L200 the credentials required for demanding professional use.

The Barbarian model also features Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD system, allowing drivers to select the most appropriate setting for changing surfaces and conditions. Seven driving modes cover everything from everyday roads to gravel, snow, mud, sand and rock.

Inside, the new L200 takes a significant step forward. Improved materials, modern infotainment and a more comfortable, driver-focused cabin bring SUV-style refinement to a vehicle that remains ready for serious work.

The all-new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

The Outlander PHEV has an equally important place in Mitsubishi’s history.

When the original model launched in 2013, it became the world’s first plug-in hybrid SUV. It helped introduce plug-in hybrid technology to a much wider audience and went on to become a major success in the UK.

More than 50,000 Outlander PHEVs have been registered in Britain, with the model remaining the best-selling PHEV in its class over the past decade.

The all-new Outlander PHEV builds on that experience with a more powerful plug-in hybrid system, upgraded technology and a spacious new interior.

Its 2.4-litre petrol engine works alongside front and rear electric motors to produce more than 300bhp. Drivers can travel for up to 53 miles using electric power under official test conditions, while the petrol engine extends the combined driving range to more than 500 miles.

For the first time in the UK, the Outlander PHEV will also be offered with seven seats. That makes it an appealing choice for families looking for electric capability during shorter daily journeys, with the flexibility to travel further when required.

Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control system provides confident traction throughout the year, supported by selectable settings for normal roads, snow, mud and other challenging conditions. An eight-year or 100,000-mile vehicle warranty also provides valuable reassurance for long-term ownership.
