As SEAT celebrates its 75th anniversary, the company is entering an exciting new chapter by refreshing the Arona and Ibiza models and enhancing their technology. These updates celebrate the brand’s heritage while reinforcing its commitment to accessible mobility. The new SEAT Ibiza and Arona are upping their game with bright designs and advanced technology. Both vehicles take an exciting step ahead, powered by three pillars of progress: a refreshed exterior, a refined interior and outstanding value.

The SEAT Ibiza stands as a true icon within its segment. Since its debut in 1984, it has sold over 6 million units across five generations, constantly evolving, embracing fresh ideas and inspiring a youthful and forward thinking spirit. 

Since its launch in 2017, the SEAT Arona urban SUV has built a loyal following. With over 750,000 units sold, it remains the go-to choice for drivers seeking a dynamic, youthful SUV ready to tackle every urban challenge.

The new SEAT Ibiza and Arona introduce a new bold, characterful design that reflects the changing needs of today’s drivers. Both models now feature updated styling, vivid new colours and a completely renewed variety of alloy wheels, which are available from 15” to 18”.

The design evolution introduces a bolder, more confident look, with a completely redesigned front for both vehicles. The new hexagonal grille design combined with the classic diamond shaped mesh in a matt/polished finish, emphasizes the sporty character and highlights the wider proportions. The new, slimmer Full LED headlights accentuate the car’s width and redefine its front-end expression. Their refined light signature adds a more technical look, conveys a determined attitude, and boosts visibility with increased beam range and brightness, all while being more energy-efficient.

At the rear, the new SEAT Ibiza features a redesigned bumper that shows off its sporty, youthful character. The extended horizontal highlight at the top creates a wider, more confident stance, while the dark aluminium model lettering - whether Ibiza or Arona - adds a modern, distinctive finishing touch. In FR trim levels, the laser-etched FR logo on the B-pillar adds a subtle yet sporty touch. The vehicles’ athletic proportions are highlighted even more by a new range of alloy wheels featuring more efficient tyre technology, enhancing both dynamism and efficiency. The line-up includes new designs for each model: the Ibiza offers two 17” and two 18” options, while the Arona adds two 16’’ and two 18’’ options. Available in painted or machined finishes, these add to the existing 15’’ to 18’’ range, providing greater visual impact and customisation. Both the Ibiza and Arona also receive refreshed exterior colour palettes, introducing more youthful and vibrant options. Liminal, Oniric, and Hypnotic join the existing range, infusing the line-up with new energy and personality.

Inside both models, they have stepped up in quality, design and connectivity, without losing on their trademark sense of space and precision. The cabin includes new embossed textiles, refined materials, a darker headliner, and subtle neutral accents on the air vents. Enhancing the sense of refinement. In the launch edition FR trim, bucket seats are now standard, adding a sportier touch and improved comfort, striking the perfect balance between everyday usability and a dynamic driving experience.

The steering wheel is wrapped in 100% premium perforated leather, which offers a tactile sense of precision and control from the first touch, which is complemented by a black headliner that reinforces the immersive feel.

On the technology front, both models feature enhanced digital equipment. SEAT has a new sound system with six speakers, a subwoofer and a 300W amplifier that deliver a high-fidelity listening experience.The enhanced 15W wireless fast charger with refrigerated technology keeps devices cool, connected and powered up wherever the road leads. 

Under the bonnet, the SEAT Ibiza and Arona continue to embody the perfect harmony of performance and efficiency. With petrol engines spanning from 80PS (59kW) to 150PS (110kW), each model delivers a dynamic driving experience designed to suit every lifestyle.

Designed, developed and manufactured at SEAT’s cutting-edge Martorell facilities in Barcelona, both models are set for launch in January 2026, driving SEAT’s strategy focused on Product, Dealers, and Communications. Under Product, the entire SEAT lineup will be refreshed with electrified options by 2028, beginning with mild-hybrid versions of the Ibiza and Arona in 2027, followed by a full hybrid powertrain for the SEAT Leon in 2028, with further updates to the Leon and Leon Sportstourer planned for 2029.
