Skoda Enyaq Takes Top Spot as What Car?’s Best Used Car of 2025

Skoda has swept the board at the 2025 What Car? Used Car Awards, taking home multiple top honours. The Skoda Enyaq was crowned Overall Used Car of the Year and also won Best Used Electric SUV, while the Skoda Kamiq took home Best Used Small SUV - highlighting Skoda’s excellence across both electric and compact segments.

The What Car? Awards are a series of respected awards given out every year by the UK based automotive magazine, which recognise the best new cars in various categories. They cover a wide range of vehicles and their reviews are valued highly. Winning one of these awards is a huge honour a car maker can receive.

For the first time, another electric vehicle has claimed the 'Used Car of the Year' title, and that car is none other than the Skoda Enyaq. The Skoda Kamiq (2019–present) has earned the title of Best Used Small SUV, making it the second Skoda model to be recognised at the 2025 What Car? Used Car Awards.

Unusually for a small SUV, the Kamiq is spacious enough for a six-footer to sit comfortably behind an equally tall driver without their knees brushing the seat in front. It also has a boot that can hold seven carry-on suitcases! Yet the car remains compact and manoeuvrable, making it ideal for city life.
