Spreading Joy This Holiday Season: Supporting Cash for Kids Mission Christmas

The festive season is a time for giving, sharing and bringing smiles to children across the country.

Here at D. M. Keith, we are proud to once again support Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, an incredible initiative dedicated to making Christmas special for children and young people who might otherwise go without.

 

The deadline to drop off presents is December 18th. Make sure your gifts arrive on time!

Joining the Mission Christmas Movement

Mission Christmas relies entirely on donations from generous individuals and local businesses to provide gifts to children in need.

We are thrilled to be part of this mission again this year, helping ensure that as many children as possible wake up to a present under the tree. Sadly, latest figures from the End Child Poverty Coalition show that poverty has increased once again and in some of our local areas 1 in 3 children are living in poverty. These are children who will potentially wake up to nothing on Christmas morning.

Gift ideas you can donate

There are so many ways to make a child's Christmas magical and these are some toys which you can donate for specific age groups:

  • 0-18 months: Sensory toys, building blocks, bibs, teething rings
  • 18 months - 3 years: Books, clothing, wooden toys, walkers
  • 3-5 years: Dolls, cars, scooters, learning toys, puzzles
  • 5-7 years: Colouring books, crayons, jigsaws, arts & craft kits
  • 7-9 years: Lego, remote control toys, footballs, science kits, pencil cases
  • 9-12 years: Board games, hats, scarves, gloves, fidget toys
  • 12-15 years: Hot water bottles, rucksacks, stationary, hats, scarves, gloves
  • 15-18 years: Hairdryers, watches, make-up, headphones, speakers, books

To make it easy for our community to contribute, we've set up multiple drop-off points across the region:
